float on.

what a seriously hectic week this has been. from assignment to project, to a groupmate who in a way "stood us up" in writing his part, to little errors after handing in the assignment, then to a lovely afternoon. the week has been pretty trying. but then when you think about it it's just another 6 or 7 full days to the start of exams. freaaaak.

i'm so tired. can't wait for this semester to be over. (and then the whole cycle repeats itself where you wish hope pray that the next semester will be awesome. but it usually isn't.)

oh, and if you're bored to death, you should watch ferris bueller's day off from way back in 1986. freaking hilarious movie in a quiet kind of way. all those cheeky people who like to fool their teachers should watch it. oh and all those who love matthew broderick's boyish face too.

(fan's blowing at my face, getting increasingly sleepy. but i have to somehow attempt to do this damn tutorial for tomorrow's 2 hour 234 revision tutorial...)

today i realised a few things:

1. that i need a whole dinner table for 6 (yes, that's my 'study table') to be able to my work properly
2. that i need about 10 hours to complete my assignment
3. that i can fight my need to sleep as long as i will myself to

yup, i am more or less done with alec's second assignment. i'm sure i'll tweak some things from now till next thursday but alhamdulillah, really. at least now that it's out of the way i can concentrate on nala's assignment. i'm not exactly sure if i should start on nala's right now because i'm pretty tired and beat from doing alec's. and i've realised how bony i actually am. as i rest my arms on the table to use the laptop the pressure against my bones gets increasingly painful and when i look at my elbows they're all red. hmm curious, very curious.

ah, whatever. i'm just happy i can strike off one thing from my list! another assignment, then hard core studying for exams. we can do this, we can.

ugh, hate confusion. i've been stuck at the same spot in my assignment for the past hour trying to understand what i don't. tried looking for papers on it and googling and all but i still don't understand. finally succumbed to asking a friend, hopefully she'll help me out in some way /:

this weekend's devoted to assignments. today's devoted to alec's and tomorrow's devoted to nala. let's hope/wish/pray that i'll come out of it in one piece.

speaking of devotion, ohmygod have you watched the remake of the 1980s tv series V??? it's like HOW awesome! i was trying to multitask (feebly, i might add) between watching the show and doing my work. in the end i did 10% of work and 90% watched the show. hahaha! i ended up on the mattress intently watching with my parents. it's really interesting, everyone should go watch it! and the leader of the Vs was the child of the ori in the original stargate, PLUS she was the crazy eyes woman in how i met your mother's swarley episode. no wonder she looked so familiar. hoho.

i painted my nails a light bronze-y colour this morning. but it looks kinda boring. maybe i should get more colours that really stand out. mwahaha.

okay back to the assignment!
